Road safety training at Standardkessel GmbH
In November 2013, Standardkessel GmbH offered road safety training with the ADAC (German Automobile Club) for all of its employees.
A total of 48 participants on two optional dates were made fit for special situations in road traffic by the ADAC. After a theoretical basis had first been imparted, the practical implementation of the driving situations was tackled in several stages.
On a course covering a large area, the participants were confronted with various possible danger situations and trained in correct behaviour. Driving through a slalom course on wet and dry ground, emergency braking and target braking, cornering and experiencing centrifugal forces, braking and swerving to avoid contact were included, among other things, in the practical exercises.
Besides the car-based training, a road safetly training course was provided for the motorcyclists as early as August.
These measures are intended to help the employees to lagerly avoid risks in everyday life and to drive foresightedly and more safely.
