First Boiler Column is in Place

We are pleased to announce the erection of the first boiler column of the new boiler plant at the EGGER site in St. Johann in Tirol! This event marks an important step in our long-standing collaboration.

This seventh joint project is particularly significant as it is being realized amidst global challenges in the energy sector. The need for and implementation of a stable, sustainable energy supply under the impacts and challenges of, among others, the Ukraine crisis require the highest flexibility and close coordination. Together with EGGER, we are taking this partnership path and successfully mastering these requirements.

Project Highlights in St. Johann:

• Combined Heat and Power (CHP) for maximum efficiency
• Use of biogenic fuels for sustainable energy
• Supplying EGGER's production processes with electricity and heat
• Providing sustainable district heating for the region

With this facility, EGGER is employing cutting-edge technology and supporting the goal of climate neutrality by 2050 - a venture of growing importance.
