On 1 September 2014 the first boiler supporting beam was installed for the new heat-recovery plant in Flensburg. Hence Standardkessel GmbH has heralded in the steelwork construction phase on the construction site and achieved an important milestone in project handling.
In the next step the steel supporting structure will be constructed and the boiler will be suspended from it. The next important milestone will be the boiler hydraulic pressure test in March 2015.
In the winter of 2015 the gas and steam cogeneration plant will then supply the city of Flensburg with district heat and electricity.
