The official start of the construction phase on the island of Kaua’i started with a solemn ceremony.
On 13th January 2013 ground breaking on the site of the future biomass-fired power plant was celebrated with a solemn consecration ceremony by Mrs Sabra Kauka.
Besides press and television, among others the congresswoman from Washington responsible, Tulsi Gabbord, and Mr Eric Knutzen (co-founder of Green Energy Team LLC) were also present.
