On 29.04.2013 the hydrostatic pressure test on the boiler plant in Radauti was successfully completed. Approx. 7160 pressure part welded seams proved to be leakproof.

This event was acknowledged within the scope of a pressure test clebration on 25.06.2013. Besides Mr Walter Schiegl, managing director for technology / production at Egger Holzwerkstoffe GmbH, Mr Thomas Fink, managing director of Standardkessel GmbH, also took the opportunity to say a few words to the guests.

After questioning about the correct and proper performance of the pressure test by the TÜV (German Technical Supervisory Agency) representative, Mr Nicolae Gherghina, and the traditional reading out of the boiler saying, stamping of the boiler nameplate was carried out by Mr Walter Schiegl and Mr Bernhard Vorreiter (project engineers at Fritz Egger GmbH). Manfred Mayer (project manager at EGGER), Nicolae Gherghina and Manfred Zebrowski (construction manager at SKG).

After that Mr Walter Schiegl thanked the companies involved in the construction work for the reliable, high-quality and so far on-schedule implementation of the construction project.

Following the scheduled takeover of the plant in October 2013, the biomass-fired power plant will in future aupply the adjoining EGGER chipboard plant with hot gas and will feed electricity into the public grid.
