After boiler 1 has already started operation in December 2011 and the commissioning of boiler 4 has taken place from December 2012 on, boiler 4 could be taken over by swb Entsorgung GmbH & Co. KG on 18th April 2013.
In 2010, Baumgarte received the order for both, the conversion of the saturated steam boiler 1 into a steam generator as well as the complete replacement of boiler 4. Following a project handling period of 34 months, Baumgarte Boiler Systems GmbH was able to handover a further important reference to begin operation.
The identically constructed boilers now supply the city Bremen with heat and electrical energy.
