On 18th of February 2021 we were able to successfully carry out the official boiler pressure test for the first boiler (AHK 62) on our construction site "Siemens for Evonik Marl" together with our Notified Body (TÜV-Nord), Mr. Dewenter. At the required test pressures for the HP and LP pressure parts, all pressure part welds proved their tightness.
Despite the difficult conditions caused by the pandemic, the successful pressure test marks another important milestone in the realisation of the project.
We would like to thank our customers Siemens and Evonik for the cooperative collaboration and all our colleagues in the project, especially our construction site teams and our sub-contractor’s teams and our quality assurance department, for their active support.
