Successful pressure test in the waste incineration plant Bremen

The pressure test on boiler 4 in the waste incineration plant was successfully completed eight weeks ahead of the contractually agreed deadline.

 

On August 1, 2012 a heating surface of about 7625 m² proved its tightness at a boiler pressure of 115.5 bar. 

 

In June 2010 Baumgarte Boiler Systems was given the order to modernize the existing power plant MHKW Bremen. After converting the saturated steam boiler to a superheated steam generator and the successfully performed pressure test in June 2011, the construction of boiler 4 got underway. 

 

Boiler 1 started its operation in December 2011. As of December 2012 the boilers identical in construction shall both ensure the supply of heat and power to the City of Bremen
