Our licensee TSBTD from South Korea has received another order for a hot water boiler for a large power plant in Anyang.
The new boiler plant is part of the Anyang Combined Heat and Power Plant (CHPP) Unit 2-2 in Anyang City, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea and is operated by GS Power. As a peak load boiler, the hot water boiler, with an annual operating time of three months, will provide heat for approximately 19,500 homes during the winter season. Our licensee has been commissioned with the engineering for the complete boiler plant, including work shop drawings.
The boiler will be designed as a compact SBG-Porta boiler (two-drum boiler) in upright and self-supporting construction. The integrated SCR system will be installed in the second pass of the boiler. LNG will be used as fuel. The work is already in full swing and the plant will start operation at the end of 2024. We wish our licensee TSBTD and all those involved a successful project completion!
