December 2024
Our licence holder TSBTD from South Korea has successfully completed the provisional acquisition (PAC) of the hot water boiler.
In July 2023, our licence holder received an order for a hot water boiler for a large power plant in Anyang. The boiler system is part of the Anyang Combined Heat and Power Plant (CHPP) Unit 2-2 in Anyang City, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea and is operated by GS Power.
As a peak load boiler, the hot water boiler, with an annual operating time of three months, supplies heat for around 19,500 homes in winter. Our licence holder was commissioned with the engineering for the complete boiler system, including production drawings.
Technical Data
RTO210 MW
Inlet boiler55 °C
Outlet boiler120 °C

The boiler is designed as a compact SBG-Porta boiler (two-drum boiler) in an upright, self-supporting design. The integrated SCR system is installed in the second pass of the boiler. LNG is used as fuel. The hot water output is 210 MWth with a flow temperature of 120 °C and a return temperature of 55 °C.
The acceptance test was successfully passed on 17 December 2024 and the Provisional Acceptance Certificate was handed over.
We would like to congratulate our licence holder TSBTD and everyone involved on the successful completion of the project up to the PAC and wish them every success for the rest of the project phase.
