Apprentice passes Chamber of Commerce final examination as a draughtsman (tracer) with the mark “Very good”

At this year’s Chamber of Commerce final examination for draughtsmen (tracers) our apprentice Daniel Janik passed his examination outstandingly with the top mark “Very Good”. As a reward, Daniel Janik was offered a contract of employment with Standardkessel Baumgarte Service GmbH for an indefinite period.

Alongside the apprenticeship as a draughtsman (Chamber of Commerce) which he started in autumn 2009, Mr Janik is also studying at evening classes to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in engineering at the Duisburg Specialised Institute of Further Education in Economics and Management. Mr Janik is now already working as a junior project engineer alongside an experienced project manager who is also considered Mr Janik’s mentor. By means of the mentor programme (for trainees) the young members of staff are provided with, among other things, specialist knowledge and corporate know-how.

By means of this type of vocational training, Standardkessel Baumgarte Service GmbH makes sure that it obtains practice-oriented young engineers and technicians.
