On April 27, 2018 the combustion grate for the Daesan SRF Power Plant was loaded onto a container ship bound for South Korea. Besides the water-cooled combustion grate, the fuel feeder, the hydraulic system and the firing capacity control system were loaded onto the ship.
The total gross weight of all packages was approx. 430,000 kg and the total volume was roughly 1,600 m3.
We are pleased about the successful progress with the new plant in Seosan, South Korea. In April 2017, SBG received the order from WELCRON Hantec Co. Ltd. for the supply of the firing system for the new Energy from Waste plant. The future plant will have a maximum rated thermal input of 130 MWth and hence be the world’s largest plant of this kind.
