On 08.10.2019, the pressure test on the boiler plant as well as the pressure test for the feedwater pressure system were completed on the job site in Dundee, United Kingdom. At a test pressure of up to 136 bar (g) all the pressure part welds provided evidence of their tightness.
Within the scope of a pressure test celebration, this milestone was appropriately recognized on 21.11.2019. After the questioning of the TÜV (Technical Supervisory Agency) representative about the correct and proper performance of the pressure test and the traditional reading out of the boiler saying, the stamping of the boiler nameplate was carried out by Messrs. Andy Malcolm (Dundee City Council), Oliver Kautz (MVV), Vitus Dewenter (TÜV North) and Rob Bramhill (SBG).
In November 2017, Standardkessel Baumgarte secured the order for the construction of the Energy from Waste Plant. Standardkessel Baumgarte GmbH is acting as the general contractor and is responsible for the turnkey supply, erection and commissioning of the entire power plant.
