In October 2018, Standardkessel Baumgarte received an order from Welcron Hantec Co. Ltd. for the supply of the firing system for the new Bio-SRF (biomass) plant in Daegu, South Korea. Meanwhile it will be the third watercooled firing system supplied by Standardkessel Baumgarte to South Korea for Welcron Group.
The future Bio-SRF (biomass) plant has a rated thermal input of 68 MWth and a fuel throughput of approx. 140,000 tonnes per annum. The scope of the order comprises essentially the fuel feed system, the combustion grate as well as the slag chutes and the hydraulic unit. The firing system is to be shipped to Korea in August 2019.
