The EfW area of Standardkessel Baumgarte GmbH secures a further order in South Korea:

Following the merger of Standardkessel GmbH (Duisburg) and Baumgarte Boiler Systems GmbH (Bielefeld) in May this year, the newly constituted company has received another order for the supply of a grate for a treatment plant handling approx. 80,000 t of waste a year close to the city of Yeoju in South Korea.

In the spring of this year, Standardkessel Baumgarte secured the order from South Korea for the supply of an incineration grate with the world’s highest heat output in the waste management business.

The technology from Bielefeld that is in demand worldwide permits the environmentally compatible production of electricity and heat from waste. For the traditional company that already supplied the boiler plants for the waste incineration plant in Bielefeld in the 1970s, the signs today are clearly pointing to internationalisation. As early as March 2017, a relatively large order was secured in Lithuania.

After some difficult years, the plant construction company can now look forward to better times again. The EfW area has been consistently aligned to the core products and the new requirements. The company’s own patents and a novel process for sewage sludge treatment are additionally opening up further business areas. True to the motto “Tradition and Innovation”, the Standardkessel Baumgarte experts in Bielefeld combine “the tried and proven with the new” and look back with pride on a long history that began in Brackwede / Westphalia in 1935.
