Standardkessel GmbH is pleased to start the new year with the order intake for the construction of a process steam boiler plant for E.ON Power Plants Belgium bvba, a subsidiary of E.ON Energy Projects GmbH.

As a general contractor Standardkessel will build a boiler plant for the generation of process steam at the production site of DOW Benelux BV in Terneuzen, NL.

The new boiler installation will be integrated in an existing power plant structure, thus increasing the availability of the process steam network. As main fuel off-gas will be applied, as supplementary fuel natural gas is used. The new steam generator serves for pressure protection of the steam network in case of failure of the existing boiler system. The pressure tolerance to be observed requires maximum load change rates to be realized.

In the past, Standardkessel has already supplied and constructed various power plants for E.ON. We thank E.ON for the confidence they have shown in us which is based on the long-term experience with Standardkessel’s know-how regarding the development and the realization of customized boiler plant solutions.
