Switchover work in Rambervillers

January 2018

The biomass-fired power plant in Rambervillers, France has reached a further milestone. On 08.01.2018, the customer EGGER’s operational plant was shut down in order for it to be reconnected to the newly constructed boiler.

After the old flue gas duct between the existing boiler and the bag filter had been dismantled, Standardkessel Baumgarte was able to start the switchover work on the new flue gas duct. The new flue gas duct was completed on schedule and the first drying procedure for the refractory lining as well as the first boiling-out of the boiler were started on 19.01.2018.

We are pleased about the successful progress of the new biomass-fired power plant in Rambervillers and thank our customer, our partners and staff for the good interaction.
