Meet-the-Buyer Event of the Protos Energy Recovery Facility Project

On Tuesday 9/11, the event "Meet the Buyer" took place with great success at the Forest Hills Hotel, on the occasion of the Protos Energy Recovery Facility project, in Great Britain.

We are pleased to have been able to participate in this event and to have had the opportunity to interact with representatives of the Covanta, Biffa and Green Investment Group consortium, as well as with representatives of the local companies' unions, so that they can learn about the project and possibly participate in it. Finally, we would like to thank all the participants, as well as our unincorporated joint venture partner MYTILINEOS, who were responsible for the construction of this event.

Upon its completion, the Protos Energy Facility will be able to provide 400,000 tonnes of annual treatment capacity for non-recyclable waste, enabling the UK to achieve national self-sufficiency in managing waste, while generating up to 49 megawatts of electricity - enough to power 90,000 homes.
