Energy from Waste Power Plant

Weener,
Germany

The task

To supply the paper mill located close to the installation site with steam energy and electrical power from the incineration of waste, a concept was required that had high plant availability as its basis.

The solution

The implementation of the latest findings from existing plants, as well as the low steam parameters were decisive for the concept. The incineration line was realized with a two-lane, completely water-cooled pusher-type grate system, a steam generator with two radiation passes downstream of the furnace, tailend with the evaporator and superheater heating surfaces, as well as an economizer in vertical design.
